Andy and I celebrated our 8th Anniversary this week on June 26. We figured it would be a great way to celebrate our anniversary by putting a "For Sale" sign up in front of our house.
We celebrated by taking all 3 kids out for dinner to Buffalo Wild Wings. It was quite the celebration. Feeding kids and eating quickly make for quite a romantic dinner- haha! :) While we were eating dinner we were joking about how much our lives have changed in the past 8 years. Despite the changes, we wouldn't have it any other way. I still managed to enjoy a margarita at dinner, and after the kids went to bed, Andy tackled our ironing pile and I read books for a book club I'm leading this summer. Sounds awesome, doesn't it?
We're hoping to get out this weekend to enjoy some adult conversation and eat at a reasonable pace to celebrate more officially.
Yeah, about that "For Sale" sign. It's a long story. It's something we've thought about for quite some time now, and we're excited about our new adventures. Some of you may have been surprised when I posted this picture on Facebook on our anniversary, but if you've kept in touch with us, you were probably excited to finally see the sign out front! :) We'll see what happens on this new journey. We've had several showings and interest in only a few days, so we're praying it will go quickly so we can break ground on the new house!! :)
