Well, we couldn't figure out a way to make a gate work at the top of our new stairs, so we had no other choice but to teach the girls how to go down the stairs. I helped walk them down a few times, and then I sat at the bottom while they climbed up and down, up and down, up and down. They did great, and only one tumble from each of them.
Now, to keep them from going downstairs all of the time....
